New Line-up of the “Ross The Boss” Band (RTB) will Perform as Friedman is Anointed at First Annual Hall of Heavy Metal History Awards Ceremony.

“Ross The Boss” Friedman, co-founder of MANOWAR and lead guitarist for Ross The Boss band, will be among esteemed inductees to the Hall of Heavy Metal History at the Anaheim Expo Center on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Television and radio legend, Eddie Trunk will host the event honoring recipients: Ronnie James Dio, Metal Blade Records, Scorpions, Rainbow Bar and Grill, Rudy Sarzo, Lemmy Kilmister, Don Airey, Frankie Banali, Vinny Appice, Andy Zildjian and Randy Rhoads. Proceeds will bene t the Ronnie James Dio “Stand Up and Shout” Cancer Fund.
The RTB band will be performing their classic MANOWAR set at the event ceremony for label chiefs, producers, journalists, industry executives, and fans. The new line-up consists of Friedman on lead guitar; Mike LePond on bass (Symphony X); Kenny “Rhino” Earl on drums (ex-MANOWAR); and Marc Lopes on vocals (Let Us Prey). RTB’s “The Discipline of Steel” World Tour 2017 will begin in February in Mexico and Central America where the band will headline 2 metal festivals, and will continue with 25 dates in Europe as scheduled in March and April, including an iconic tour of England, where Friedman began the metal onslaught years ago.
Says Friedman, “I have assembled three incredible musicians, and together, we will deliver an experience only to be described as, true classic metal. We are going to devastate every audience, every night, without mercy!”

Ross The Boss band will be coming out with its third album on AFM records, that will pay tribute to 35 years of his metal heritage. More tour dates and festival dates to be announced soon. Ross and the band look forward to connecting with all metal inductees, with old friends and making new friends at the Ana- heim event.
