Kalapács
The band got its name from the lead singer's surname (Jozsef Kalapács), which translates to 'Hammer' in English and also symbolises the sound of the band – HEAVY METAL. Kalapács was born in 2000, and consists of four other members (Istvan Beloberk-Bass, Zsolt Beloberk-Drumm, Lajos Sarkozi-Guitar, Laszlo Weisz- Guitar) all previously playing in other heavy metal bands. Their first album was released the same year the band was formed, and they have continuously been releasing them ever since. Kalapács has had 14 albums since 2000, 2 of them became gold records.
