KYLE FALCONER - The Underworld
KYLE FALCONER

KYLE FALCONER

Kyle Falconer has enjoyed a careering, rocket-powered 15 years with The View. The then-teenage Dundee band smashed into the charts with 2006’s classic debut single ‘Wasted Little DJs’ and the following year’s Owen Morris-produced–and ultimately Mercury-nominated–album ‘Hats Off to The Buskers’. Over five albums they barely let up, tearing it up on and off stage. Their comeback 6th album Exorcism Of Youth released in August 2023 whent to number 6 in the UK charts and cemented their reputation again as one of the UK's best loved indie bands. In 2023 Liam Gallagher announced The View as his support for his Definitely Maybe arena tour in 2024. Kyle has also enjoyed a fruitful career as a solo artist collaborating with Mark Ronson and releasing two solo albums. His last solo album No Love Songs For Laura has been devised into a musical written by his partner Laura Wilde. It has enjoyed success at Edinburgh Fringe and is currently touring the UK before heading to the USA.
