METALWORKS presents RIDE THE LIGHTNING
METALWORKS - Is a free entry, legendary rock/metal covers band that have been playing in Camden for over 20 yrs. Featuring world class band members & special guests.
We are back at the Underworld on Sunday 2nd June with a special opening set - a performance of Metallica's second album, 'Ride The Lightning' which was released 27th July 1984. 40 years ago next month!
Those of you who were at last year's 40th anniversary of Kill 'Em All will know just how good a night it was and the very same crew will be on hand once more to "Fight Fire With Fire" -Adam Breyer (Hi-On Maiden, Neuronspoiler) - Vocals/Guitar,
John O'Connell (Metalworks, Bilic Mob) - Guitar,
Gus Macricostas (Saxon, Metalworks) - Bass,
Ciaran McGrory (Shot Through the Heart) - Drums.
Doors 8pm - Live music from 8.45pm
Once the bells have stopped tolling, the main Metalworks set will follow, Steff's main men being:
George Gt Stergiou - Guitar/Backing Vocals,
Gus Macricostas - Bass,
Luigi Di Paolo - Drums,
& special guest, ex-Iron Maiden guitarist Tony Parsons who will be joining the band to play some early Maiden.
We'll have a whole lotta other classic rock & metal tunes for you, with other musicians joining the band during the night right through till 11pm.
And...it's still... FREE ENTRY to The Underworld from 8pm.
