THE DAYBREAKERS at The World’s End

FREE ENTRY 💥 LIVE MUSIC at The World’s End! Join us from 7pm on Thursday 7th July, as The Daybreakers bring their southern-infused rock-n-roll sounds to Camden Town’s biggest boozer. Plenty of space for all, free entry as always, see you there! 🍻

Fast-rising, time-warping bluesological rockers based in East London, THE DAYBREAKERS channel the frenetic and melancholic sounds of The Doors and Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac while evoking shades of the MC5, Captain Beefheart and Thin Lizzy.

No stodgy purists, THE DAYBREAKERS embrace synths, sampledelica, avant-garde and pop to their Paisley clad bosoms. A three headed brave Ulysses for the 2020s!

Their unorthodox approach and side stepping of rock norms has set them apart from the crowd, attracting celebrity fans as well as a cross generational following enthused by their fresh take on rock’s Golden Era.

THE DAYBREAKERS were formed in 2019 by Irish /Jamaican relatives Aidan Connell on guitar and Conor Cotterill on bass. Aidan has lent his guitar and songwriting skills to artists Gary Clark Jr, Mazzy Star and Seasick Steve among many others. The rhythm section grooves like a mutha thanks to jazz-savant drummer James Gullis and School of Stax/Motown bassist Conor Cotterill, with the three musicians embodying the seeming paradox of tight but loose.

THE DAYBREAKERS have been tearing it up in packed venues in the UK and Europe, both in their own right and as the obvious stand outs at Starship club nights, which has attracted such luminaries as Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. They’ve also recently had airplay on both BBC Radio 2 and Radio 6 Music.
