THE QUEERS
Formed in New Hampshire in the early 80’s The Queers went on to become one of Lookout Records flagship bands, helping to define what has become known as ‘that Lookout sound’, melding the sonic qualities of The Ramones and The Beach Boys - unapologetically poppy whilst simultaneously maintaining the sort of relentless live shows you would expect from bands like Black Flag. The band has put out several records that should be staples in any punk rock gormandizers collection and their latest LP ‘Save The World’ shows a band that is still on top of their game, the UK is next on the list of places that need saving, so get some Converse on your feet, count to four and let the good times begin.
