Home-grown festival of the heaviest, fuzziest offerings from London and beyond
Slomatics: True pioneers of what we call sludge and doom, blending elements of psychedelic rock, conjuring images of overgrown celestial bodies marshalled by undiscovered extraterrestrial entities. Influenced by the past, here in the present, echoing a vision of the future
Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard: Heavy but with a sound all their own, the guitars are down-tuned to ‘Z,’ the guitar tone is tar thick and the riffs massive and full of hooks ... of course. But with the soaring, angelic, multi textured vocals of Jessica Ball, MWWB have added an extra dimension to what’s considered doom.
Slabdragger: Sam playing guitar & vocals, Yusuf plays bass and yells down the other microphone whilst Jack hits the drums with fucking baseball bats. Sludge as fuck.
Chubby Thunderous Bad Kush Masters: Bad Kush are a tie dye fuzz stoner trio from London recently signed to Riff Rock Records and have spent the last 12 months touring & partying hard throughout the UK and Europe with the likes of Bongzilla, Boss Keloid, Ten foot Wizard and Lacertilia to name a few. Their next album is due out early 2018 and expect the classic riff bangers, heavy psych and the usual bad batch of fuckery and excessive wah.
Monolithian: Cornwall's depressing doom duo return taking the best elements of ponderous, ominous and bleakest doom, and applying unrestrained momentum, riffs and the occasional hint of groove, they continue to deliver.
Earthmass: Seeing them live is an experience, it’s truly something that is best seen in person. Somewhere between galactic psychedelic rock, post metal and doom lies Essex’s Earthmass, not to be missed!
Morag Tong: The Surrey four piece combines sledgehammer doom and ambient psychedelia, with earth shaking yet smooth tones that swing seamlessly from pounding intensity to serene clarity.
Tuskar: Two piece doom/sludge outfit hailing from Milton Keyens, residing in the Surrey Hills. Combining elements of sludge, doom , Black metal & everything in between. See For Yourself
